Maternity Leave

Post by Sonshine » May 14th, 2019, 1:50 pm

Hi, I really hate to bring this old topic up again, but no matter what I do, I can't get rid of the automatic maternity leave.I have SP set for no maternity leave -5, and maternity/paternity leave false, MC set for -5 or -10 or something like that as well as disabled, but I *still* get it. I have SP/population as well as MC cheats. Each time, I have to go to MC/intermediate/career/days off and -10 or something to get rid of the time off. There are plenty of other sims in the household to take care of the nooboo, but it just doesn't seem to cooperate. As you know,
it's especially annoying when the sim has several days off. Is there anything else I'm missing? I thought these mods disabled mat leave. : /

Did you set under the Town options as well??

Nrass-sp-town options-maternity leave...

I have it set under the town options, as well as under everything else for no mat leave and my sims never receive it.

Hi Kinzybaby-girl, Yes, under SP/Town options:pregnancy/mat leave -10. That is the only option for pregnancy in that category. All other categories are also set at a negative # or false.

Then set the Town Option to be -20. Note that sims who are already pregnant when such settings get changed may not get the leave time (or lack of leave time) that one might expect.

The other options regarding maternity/paternity leave are under General Options and are only concerned with what SP is allowed to add on to that which the game provides. When we switch those off, zero them out, or set them to false, that still doesn't touch the EA generated leave time, which varies by career and job level. Only the negative entry in Town (Household, Caste, Sim) Options does this.

MasterController has nothing to do with maternity leave. Its only role here is that MC Cheats can be used for single-time additions to or removals of leave time (of any kind).

I will try to increase the negative number. These settings were in place before she became pregnant. I'll wait and see what happens on the next pregnancy.

I have an idiotic question. Maternity leave options are missing from SP menu for some reason; I have version 267 installed, what am I doing wrong? (Other mods I have are Vector, Woohooer, Master Controller, Careers and Overwatch)

Dead Guest, do you have a Population module for SP?
