I have no idea what is happening on my sims lot, but suddenly, even though all my sims are home, babysitters keep showing up! I have tried to click various things to see if I can cancel the service, but I see nothing about canceling services. Also, when I exit to city view and click on my sims house/lot I get two options, Nraas and "Go Home"???? WTF is that about? I tried to click the go home option, but everyone is home and nothing happened anyway.

I did make a few changes to some SP settings, but I've be wracking my brain trying to imagine what would have caused this to occur. It had nothing to do with services or where sims live..etc. I can't think of anything I may have done that would have caused this.

I tried resetting the lot. NOTHING. I dismiss the sitter and another one shows up! So far this has cost them $300 at $75 a sitter. I just left it, but now the stupid $itch is waking up the toddlers who need to be in bed along with the rest of the family. What in the heck happened here?

Nope Thanks though. I just exited for now. I may just go back to the previous save since IDK if it was something I set incorrectly, or perhaps I accidently highlighted a category I did not mean to while clicking away in the SP mod. I did double check my settings for serice sims and they all seem to be where they were before. sigh....

Is this the same household that owns two lots and is something going on at the secondary one? Are they trying to live on the secondary one while things are going on at the primary?

They own a lot that they bought recently, but they never moved from the their home or even tried to move. I gave up trying to fix it and just opened the previous save and everything is playing out fine. They still own the other lot.

IDK but I think somehow I must have done a booboo click when I was messing with SP? HOWEVER: I should note that prior to this I tried to send all my sims to the park. This included the two dads, two children and two toddlers. But I'd forgotten that one of them had to work. While they were gathering everyone to leave dad 1 dropped a toddler in the foyer and took off for work. The toddler dad 1 was carrying got sent to the daycare and dad 2, the twin and 2 children got tossed onto the sidewalk down the road. I had a heck of a time getting everyone back home. So, all but dad 1 were home. (of course the day care toddler had been teleported back home at this point) Then I tried to just send dad 2 and the two children to the park.and I got a message to call a babysitter again. This time no one went to the daycare but the sitter showed up instead to care for the twins. I thought nothing of this and assumed daycare lady had left the property so this was why no daycare was open or it was after hours maybe. Anyway, that night when I sent everyone home about 9pm the sitter left and charged us the $75. Then another one showed up, some poorly dressed dude I'd never seen. I was like WTF? So I just dismissed him and another new one showed up. Then I sent her home and the original sitter we generally get showed up. I sent everyone to bed and she started waking the toddlers up to tickle and play with. It was all so strange.

Just a thought but sometimes to cancel services you need a house phone not the smartphone. Can't hurt to get one and try it.

I think this is where I would be packing in the inactive run daycare system for a while and either giving the provider a staycation or something else to do. Again, just for a while.

SP has nothing to do with babysitters or other Service Sims, other than gating their own personal progression if one wants that (there isn't too much you can do with Service Sims in this regard while they remain in the service pool though). Nor does SP have anything to do with child care. Something else clearly glitched here and insisted there was an otherwise untended to toddler somewhere on your property or within reach. Reverting to a prior save would also be a good plan.

Thanks, tried that and there was nothing. But as I stated, I just gave up on the game and went the previous save. I hadn't done anything much anyway, just a couple of sim days of every day stuff.

Igazor - Yes. Open daycare is done.I did consider that may be the issue too. I am giving her a job at the school

This ^^^^^ You have to cancel the service with the phone. Not dismiss the sim.
