Archery Gauntlet & Basketball Hoop

No one knows everything this mod can do. Did you know you can tune the size of your sims nostrils with this mod? I'm kidding.

Archery Gauntlet & Basketball Hoop

Does anyone know if there are settings I can change for energy decay when using the archery gauntlet and basketball hoop? I think it's ridiculous that after sims have used either of them for a few hours, their energy bar will be low, and they will need to sleep. They should just get the fatigued moodlet, like when they work out. I've looked for something for the archery gauntlet, but none of what I found has anything to do with energy decay, only for who is allowed to use it, and for scoring.

If there are no settings for that, that can be changed, does anyone know of a mod that might take care of that issue?

No settings that I'm aware or any mods that stop the energy loss.

I do have a solution for this. Be warned, you are not going to like it.

There is nothing big athletic basketball players and archers like better than a cup of piping hot tea in between rounds (or periods or whatever it is basketball has). Place a nice tea table with the frilly tablecloth/doily on it and some chairs right next to the court, they will love you for it. Hey, it's either that or give them a zen massage table...there just just aren't enough ways without outright cheating or resorting to supernatural things like elixirs and spells to restore energy in this game. :)

@igazor Oooookaaaay. My sim is not a big athletic archer, she's a slender young female singer who likes shooting at targets in her free time. Unlike her police officer husband, she has never darkened the door of the gym. Not that your suggestions are of no interest, just correcting your mental image of my girl.

What I've actually been doing is dragging her energy bar up to match as close as possible to where her husband's is at that point. I was hoping there was a better way. Maybe I can put a tea table at the other side of the archery range, with the vending machines. Considering how many other sims always flock there whenever she goes, I might need more than one, but I think there's room. If not, maybe I can replace a couple of tables at the bakery with tea tables and have her go there after her archery sessions.

Mental image corrected. I wasn't being overly serious with the picture I was drawing, but just reflecting on what are the very few ways to restore sim energy without constantly needing naps and outright sleep midday. :)

@igazor I wasn't being totally serious either.

I did try putting tea tables in the archery range, then the sims who flocked there drank tea instead of shooting arrows at targets. The tables looked out of place anyway, and I couldn't put one in my little bakery, so I decided to put one in the indoor coffeehouse I made for my town instead. It works great and will give her something else to do in her free time, until she has children and doesn't have any free time anymore.

Yes, I should have mentioned that the draw to those tea tables is insanely high kind of like the deep fat fryers and ice cream machines. That can be softened with Retuner, but I'm sure it looks more natural to see those in a coffeehouse setting anyway. :)
