Daycare Question

Post by JohnL83 » March 30th, 2019, 3:44 pm

In a previous thread it was mentioned that to get more kids at my sims daycare I set Go Here to use daycare instead of sitters. However, this has not really produced more toddlers in my active family's daycare. (there are currently toddlers 8 in town my worker only gets 1)

But I did notice that when the Daycare was not playing as the active, my active sims baby (not toddler) was teleported to the daycare when we left and I hit "call sitter". (yes I have "use daycare instead of sitter" set to true)

So do I need to use the "hire sitters for inactive" set to True as well? Or will this mean that NA just hire sitters when they leave instead of sending the baby or toddler "into the void"?

Daycare Question

UPDATE....Ummm NO...not a good idea to use 'hire sitter for inactive's' in my daycare, along with, 'use daycare instead of sitters'.

It was a mess! Babies would vanish in the caregivers arms, actions would freeze, havoc ensued! Just FYI for others who may read this. If someone got this to work I would love some tips though.

Daycare isn't so bad now however. She gets two toddlers now and about 6-7 kids at the end of day. For some reason though, they don't always leave in time. Two days in a row I had kids there until after 10pm. I had to do a MC Go Home on them! And that goshdarn "troubled child" is about to get TA'd if he keeps breaking everything in the house!! I assumed that with all the actions your daycare sim could help them, but all the "scolding", "talk abut problems", etc isn't helping this brat! Otherwise it's kinda fun. When the rest of the family get home they really help to autonomously entertain the children.
