Sure! Chill, dude :D, I'm just trying to find a setting that may improve his gameplay, haha, I want to help the community, I'm going to start modding, and I'm going to start working here for free, and from what I tested and what I'm reading in the mod's source codes, there are some functions destroying vehicles and npcs, which can be very dangerous; and the game, when it starts, sometimes kinda resets the sim and cancel its actions, which can be dangerous too since it can break its connection with what it was interacting; once, about a year ago, I was playing and when the game started and showed the NRaas being active, my sim changed position before going to work, lost its action and a carpool got stuck in front of my lot and I had to use Ctrl+Shift+Click (is it right? or is it Ctrl+Alt+Click?) and delete, because MasterController reset all didn't remove it and my sim couldn't go to work.

And it happened with JohnL83 himself, he got 2 buses!

yes, I know, it's just a suggestion; because as you said, GoHere is an injection mod; which can seriously interfere with some objects and game autonomy. Like, it's not all about the auto grouping, there was something wrong with the 'DoRouteWithFollowers'

off topic: I fixed the fridges with my first mod change; take a look at my other post! :D

ArthurGibraltarCondino - The OP is on the Steam version of the game, thus Patch 1.67 and not Origin. You would not have known that necessarily without reviewing his posting history, but the game's build number is revealed at the beginning of his script logs.

I'm not sure that object deleting school buses and carpools is the right thing to do if there is a vehicle driver in there (though it's probably safe if there isn't because then it's just a stuck object). The drivers may be in the untouchable class, but they are still sims and should never be deleted that way as that only deletes their body but their data stays in the game and then strange things can happen when that sim is called upon by the game to do something. I would have thought an MC > Object Stats on the world lot to Flush might be preferable if there were no other choices to get rid of it.

Interactions and routing getting interrupted when the game reloads are not generally serious, the sim and the game functions usually recover. You are free to disagree and to tinker with the mods for your own usage certainly, but offhand I wouldn't say this issue rises to the level of being dangerous or requiring tremendous amounts of energy to fix/change on a more global level.

Oh, no, no, that's not what I said; I meant Overwatch cancelled my sim's Go To Work interaction, it changed the sim's position because some 'soft' reset Overwatch does sometimes to fix loading bugs; but it caused another bug: the car the sim was going to use got hard locked in front of my lot, with no interactions available, thus even after using Total Reset for whole town, the car didn't disappear

This doesn't just happens to cars; because of this post world loading bugfix, sometimes coffe mugs, drink glasses and other IEdible, like Plasma Juice, in general, are put out of a sim's hand (they don't get stuck, but they lose their functions; there was a rare case I clicked the sim to 'drink' the glass, which was put on the floor by the mod, because it had no 'clean' interaction and the sim kept drinking and drinking forever with no status or motive change, until I had to cancel it manually: the glass got 'broken' by the NRaas mod)

it got stuck with no interactions, just Ctrl+Shift+Click

wow, the game is broken even in 1.69, and Steam won't update its version? What a shame  Isn't there anyway the player can update to 1.69? Like, Origin's version fixed my World Adventures at a not so important bug, but it actually did something to the game; and it actually keeps the game in a safe state (with the mods running, lol)

What I mean with all this is: human programming logic fails; we need to take everything in consideration; I didn't notice it was a Steam version, but if it is, then I think even that could be causing some sort of interference; maybe the player could disable steam overlay over The Sims 3; even that could help

And about Error 12, I found a guide that might help, from IGN (https://www.ign.com/wikis/the-sims-3/Sa ... ge_Control):
'Error 12 indicates that your RAM is out of memory to properly save. This usually results from long play sessions, especially with large families.[...]'

'Error 12 Prevention
Due to its causes, Error 12 is easier to prevent. Be sure to save often, especially if your computer is running with less than 4 GB RAM. If the saving times aren't unacceptable, we recommend saving every in-game night while all Sims are sleeping, as well as before going on any World Adventures.

Also, save before giving any 'Plan Outfit' command, and try saving again if you successfully make changes and cleanly get back to the game again. You'll find that Error 12 strikes often if you've gone over an in-game week without saving but after you access Create-A-Sim mode.[...]'

'Error 12 Damage Control
[...]switching active families from Edit Town mode will make all Sims in the neighborhood cancel their current action, and it will make your active Sims cancel their wishes and promises. You might be able to switch active families, then switch back, then save.

If that fails, rather than doing a standard save, trying doing a 'Save As...' and give your file a new name. This way, new data is created on the hard drive, and some parts of the data in the RAM will not be transferred. This is the most reliable method we have found to get around the error.

If you have Showtime installed, you can try logging out of the official Sims 3 site through the options menu.

[...]If you manage to recover from Error 12 and actually manage to do the save, you should immediately quit the game and restart it if you intend to keep playing.'

EDIT: This could mean, NRaas Saver could help you.

I believe you will find this happens on occasion to players who are not using mods as well. My objection was to the force deletion (shift-ctrl-click, whatever it is) in particular of a vehicle that still has a driver sim inside. If no sims or we are talking about other kinds of objects, then no objections.

Error 12 upon trying to save is an out of usable resources condition. It can be triggered by there not being enough available RAM on a system in the first place (typically less than 6 GB), but also if the game's RAM usage ever reaches/spikes into the danger zone which for most of us is somewhere above 3.3 or 3.4 GB. Certainly 3.7 GB is the hard upper limit, TS3 is a 32-bit executable and can do no better than this no matter how much RAM is available. Error 12s can also be triggered by a shortage of other usable resources such as we might see after coming out of a CAS or Edit Town session, unless bad CC is in play these are more difficult to troubleshoot. But when the game thinks it is out of what it calls virtual memory (which is really more like vram as the rest of the world would see it, not swap file memory) then the same thing can happen.

There are no differences in the actual game files between Patches 1.67 and 1.69 other than the internal build numbers, they are both current and supported here. Actually so is 1.66, the difference between that one and 1.67 was trivial though this isn't typically relevant anymore. The only things 1.69 changed are the required Origin-Launcher tie-in and the annoying because it keeps goofing things up Packs and Stuff chooser tab on the Launcher. Once we get beyond how the game starts up, players on Steam/1.67, All-Disc/1.67, Mac/1.67, and Origin/1.69 are all playing the same game using the same game files.

While I believe you got some benefit from re-installing, rare though that is to hear about, Origin does not impact TS3's game files like it can and does with other games such as TS4. Even the Repair Game option on TS3 is meant to fix the Origin tie-in and help re-align it to get the game start properly, it does nothing to the actual game files' contents or actual gameplay. It may overwrite changes the player has made to their GraphicsCards and GraphicsRules sgr files to get their card formally recognized by the game and set them back to standard, but those aren't really game files.

When we talk about Patch Level compliance, games getting or not getting EA's intended fixes, running with the correct versions of mods (other than the rare Core Mod exception like ErrorTrap that checks on build numbers), we mean 1.63 and prior vs. 1.67/69

Pretty sure Origin fixed a 'non essential' problem (really, it doesn't matter for gameplay); it actually changed something that forced my game to show 'do you want to try to move to new towns', something like that, which didn't appear before using Origin Repair;

Exactly, that's what the guide explains; so, as it says, try disabling other not used processes, including steam overlay and friends, and use a new save file, it may help fixing the problem (and use NRaas Saver to save more often, because):
JohnL83 post_id=64657 time=1553095524 user_id=18010 wrote: Basically I can usually only get one hour of play from this game and only one save. I've not been able to save a second time during one sitting even if I play and save very 30 min. I can usually play for about an hour and save fine, if I try to keep playing and save again, I get the Error 12.
EDIT: I save every 5 minutes, lol, off topic I do lots of building and stuff, and all, and I can't risk losing everything; I actually delete my beautiful kitchens in the end because I'm never satisfied with my houses our neighborhoods; actually, when I start playing the fridges used to lose the autonomy for vampires and I kept trying to restart everything and resetting/removing/re-adding all the mods; now that I fixed it changing Overwatch's files, I can play in peace. And finally set the Retuner right; Bonehilda suddenly started doing laundry, why though, I wonder, 'cause she didn't before.
