So after trying to work through my problem last night I found a CC hair whose mesh is missing, has corrupted. I forced a script error in CAS but am not sure if I can use that to find and delete the hair.
Is there a way? Also, if not does anyone know of a way to find a hair name? I may have to try taking a picture, zooming and using google to search by image.

If you know what the thumbnail for the hair looks like you could try this thumbnail extractor. It will extract the thumbnail for every item in the folder you run it on (e.g. your folder with CC hair). The thumbnail has the same name as the package/sims3pack, so you can easily find the one you're looking for.

That didn't help because I can't find where the files were going. It says they are supposed to be in the same folder, but they aren't there.
I tried the conflict detector and that didn't help either.

hirikosaunders,
If the CC Hair is a package file, you can try this:-

Thank you!
That did the trick. I don't know what caused the corruption and I doubt I will redownload this weekend because it has already been stressful enough but thank you!
