I've been considering the idea of giving Sims 4 another try. (I did the free trial thingy a while back on my old PC) I've heard there are some nice upgrades since it's first release and it's only $5 on Origin for the initial base game and the DLC's are now around $19.99 (USD). Anyway, I'm unfamiliar with Origin and not 100% sure I want another thing like that on my PC...I mean, Steam seems like more than enough. It's not about space on my PC, I have more than enough, but I just hate cluttering my computer up with crap.
If any Origin players could give me some feedback on what it's like, how much you like it etc. I would appreciate the info. I really don't plan on any other games from them. I have only 6 Steam games and haven't bought a new one in a long time. I stick to pretty much the same games anyway.
I also was wondering if it's even available to buy on disk so you don't need Origin? Or is Origin automatically added with the disk version? When I searched online the only things I found were eBay offers and places like Amazon don't seem to sell them. I had a couple of bad experiences with eBay so I refuse to use them. I'm thinking I may just have to go to a store in person, which is fine, but if I'm going to end up with Origin anyway it seems silly to make the extra trip.

Origin and Sims 4
The TS4 discs lead the player to Origin, there really isn't much of a point to them that I've ever been able to see.
I'm very sorry, we know that many players do enjoy both games but I'm afraid this post is a bit too far off-topic for this forum and I'll have to lock it up. Our focus here is TS3 and NRaas mod usage. Perhaps this discussion would be better suited for MTS or the EA forums.
