Hi,

I've gone through every conceivable menu option to disallow the Male caste in SP, and have set Service sims and new immigrants to be female, so I end up with an all-female town, but male sims are still being generated and I can see them in the "Total Annihilation" option in Master Controller.

Is there some option I've overlooked? My assumption was that if service sims are female only, and immigrants are female only, why are males sims still appearing?

Your starting premise appears to be that all sims in your world are Service Sims or immigrant residents (or placed there by you). There are other sources of sims in our worlds. You cannot disallow the Male caste from actually existing thus leading to no males existing, perhaps you could explain how you were going about that.

Births -- I think you would know if new babies are being born so this probably isn't of concern right away, but anyway the gender of newborns needs to be set to Female in SP as well. Note that this setting only affects the first born of what could be multiple births, there is no way to control the gender of a second twin, the second and third triplet, etc.

Adoptees - Your sims probably aren't adopting kids from the adoption pool without your knowing about it, but this is another source of sims that may not be reachable to control. There will also be animals in the pet adoption and horse breeding pools if you have the Pets EP, but these sims never appear on-screen unless they are actually adopted.

Role Sims -- These are not Service Sims, they are sims assigned to role giving objects in town. But if you use SP's Population module and the Options:Sim > Options:Immigration/Emigration settings with Replace Service Sims with Immigrants together with General Options > Options: Households > Move Role Sims into Service Household (the Register mod is also required here), I believe they should be covered.

Homeless Co-Workers and Street Performers - Not sure there is any way to control the gender of these. They are spawned by the game itself, not an SP process, although SP can sometimes impact their genetics.

Vehicle Drivers - The taxi cab, limo, carpool, and school bus drivers are not Service Sims, they are in a class unto themselves and although sims in their own rights they are essentially untouchable.

Grim Reaper and Time Traveler - It would be interesting if you have found a way to affect the gender of these special sims without breaking them. But they won't breed, so maybe this is not a huge concern.

Tourists - Only relevant if you have connected foreign worlds in your game, but Register can be used to shut down tourism entirely.

I don't think there is a path to 100% female once we get past actual residents and Service Sims. But as to these male sims you are finding on MC filtered lists, as they get introduced to your game, I think the challenge would be to figure out what they are doing in your world and for what reasons (therefore by what process) they were spawned. And a sense of humor will be required if this doesn't work out to 100%, but I hope you will gauge your success by noting the genders of the sims you can actually see on screen, not so much those that populate lists but are never really simulated in view.

Should also add, not that I was invited or anything, but this world is not going to be on my personal list for vacation sites or places to live as I'm not expecting the locals to be all that welcoming.

Whoa! Thanks for the super detailed reply. I think I was being premature in my analysis, as although the game generates these sims they don't appear in the world at all, so I think I've got this world (and more importantly how to use SP ) sussed out now.

Start out with an empty custom world, change your immigration settings to female only instead of balanced. Shift click and edit in CAS all service sims you come across. Idk about kids tho.
