A while back someone here told me about a way to fix the age spans of sims through the file folders so you can bypass the annoying sliders. Or maybe it was some other way, I can't remember.
I'm trying to set my sims age span at a certain number and for the life of me I can't get the damn slider to stop at the numbers I want! I got all but two of them set, and for some reason no matter how I move my mouse I can't get it to stop at the number I want! Please help!

You need to edit the Options.ini file with Notepad (or Notepad++). The file can be found in your Documents/Electronic Arts/ The Sims 3 folder but you probably know that bit. Use Ctrl+F to search for agingstagelength within that file and you'll get them all, including dogs, cats and horses!
