Mysterious Routing Issues

Post by Sara_Darkees » February 6th, 2019, 9:20 am

Okay, it seemed to me for the reason that I'm building a house or a public lot for more than one sitting and in the end it seems very long. I've never been patient, besides if something goes wrong, it throws me off balance. Although perhaps really need more practice to succeed, but over time I'm just trying to improve the geometric structure of the house. Eh, I remember when I started with a one-story box... And the restructuring of a two storey house it's really not so difficult process, especially if almost all the walls were intact.

Generally, a large two-story home, plus the outside and landscaping will take me about 3-4 hours. Though it can be longer if I'm doing more detailed work
I remember when it used too take me that long to build a house but I've gotten so used to replacing houses that I can bulldoze everyone of them and rebuild the whole town in around 2 hours.

Sittingbear - well it does depend on the size of the house of course. A typical 20x30 simple home I can whip out in 30 minutes or so. The 3-4 hours is if I'm building a large lot, say 64x64, from scratch, like a complex mansion or large parks and such. But I don't have to do that too often anymore. I have many business, parks and home lots saved of all sizes that I can plop and just make a few outside cosmetic changes to match the neighborhood or to make them a bit more unique, like changing landscaping or the roof or building color and patterns. And sometimes I subtract or add a few items inside depending on who will live there or it's intended use. For the house I'm referring to in this thread I just wanted to make it unique since the family is one of my favorites and I generally give my main family of sims the most unique homes. :-)

I only once used a lot 64x64. There I have a decrease in fps, but it is not critical. I don't know how much time it took me to build and decorate it, because I did it more than once. I have no idea how some people build palaces in one sitting. My eyes hurt when I choose textures - this is a very important but long process. Аnd oh, this moment when you suddenly find something asymmetrical... But, of course, the most insulting is when a mystical obstruction is detected.
