Sketchbook and drafting table drawings count towards self employed Painter career progress?

I was wondering if there's a way that makes it so when you sell drawings from the sketchbook and drafting table, the money earned counts towards the painter self employed career? I think it makes sense for them to, since sims can improve their painting skill by using both of those objects and they're making art, just not with paint.

I've mentioned this on my forum for you but I'll repeat it here in case anyone else is interested.
That's a very good idea. I've had a look at the code for it for I can't see anywhere that stipulates what earns the money and what doesn't. I wasn't even aware that they didn't count towards the money earned. How silly!

I will keep looking though. There must be a way to tweak the self-employed skill-based careers. They're a bit more advanced than the XML tuning I tend to work with, so it's a bit beyond my scope at this time. Won't stop me trying - I love a challenge!
