Hi,

Sorry if the question had already been asked but i did not really find my answer, i saw the possibility of cutom career i quote "using EA's XML tuning system." but I do not understand how to open the xml?

I need it because registering as self employed and registering for a discreet appointment does not work any pnj do come in the house.

Hi hells_rider
Not sure if I'm misunderstanding the question but are you looking to create a custom career, download one or fix an issue? What has your sim registered self-employed as?

Hi missy,

I already have the mod career for a while and no additional module at the moment, but I dropped this mod because using the pc of my sims and registering as a freelancer I saw no similar result to register for a discreet appointment, no change I do not see the result that must give him

the question would be what are self employed and discreet appointments? Because there is no result once save from pc

And last point I see written custom xml but how to open it?

cordially

I think something might be getting lost in translation here. The NRaas Careers mod is a custom career loader, it doesn't do much of anything to gameplay all by itself with some small exceptions. But custom careers designed by NRaas (the additional modules), yourself, or anyone else (like Missy's among many others) will not work without the base mod in play.

Most self-employed jobs require the Ambitions EP.

Can you clarify again just what it is you are trying to do and what "discreet appointments" means -- can you say that another way so we can understand it better? Are you modding your own custom career or trying to work with that another player has created?

Hi,

Sorry I could not answer before because, I come back from a period of work. I think the mod "self employed and discreet appointments" come from the mod "" woohooer "

I just downloaded a module for career I will see the result, for cons I still do not understand the "using EA's XML tuning system" present on the career page.

In order to successfully receive assistance here, I'm afraid you are going to have to make yourself understood a bit better and answer the follow-up questions we ask.

What exactly are you trying to do? Are you a mod coder or learning to be one and you are trying to design your own custom career? Are you trying to use a custom career mod that already exists (and if so, which one)?

Woohooer does not come with a career, if this is what you meant. The KamaSimtra skill that allows sims to be paid for the adult services they provide is not a formal career even if the player regards it as such. Ordering up an encounter by way of a computer is for the customer to use, not the service provider. If your service provider is a sim you are actively playing, they won't get customers making appointments that way. They have to go out and find their own.

Am I even close to answering the correct questions?

Are you trying to create a self-employed career using the KamaSimtra skill?
As for opening the XML files, most people use s3pe, Sims 3 Package Editor, to view and edit XML files. If you're looking to create a RabbitHole career, there are tutorials around that will explain, step-by-step how to do just that and provide you with links to the tools you'll need.

If it's a self-employed career you're wanting to create, I personally haven't made any but as Twallan did indeed make some, it is possible although I haven't seen a tutorial for such, so a lot of the work would be through trial-and-error and continuous testing.

Or am I missing the topic entirely?
