Maybe it's strange question, but can i somehow temporarily hide / delete few sims or family from town without losing their relationships with other sims and their skills, traits, inventory items, etc? Just want simulate situation like one family will go in another town on vacation, but i stay play in active city with another family.

No, afraid not. If it were possible to push a sim or a household out to a foreign connected world then that would be the way to do it but only pulls are possible, not pushes.

What you would have to do is either travel this household to another world, move them there "permanently" (even though not really permanent) with Traveler's Change Hometown, then travel or transition active play back. Either that or travel your own actives out of town and use MC > Add Sim > Homeworld to pull in the targets. Either way though, they will lose control of their house back in the original homeworld unless you leave at least one household member behind.

Hmm, no, not like this. This is just a story. I want to stay these sims in my active city, just need to make sure that they will don't appears anywhere in "vacation time" (like vacations with "generations" addon). And then after a one-two game week I will bring them back.

There is no way (I know of) to accomplish that other than bringing them to a new world proactively. The Generations EP adult "vacations" essentially do park sims in the actively played household in a stasis-like foreign world in much the same way that boarding schools do for kids/teens, but it is such a horrible game-breaking mechanism that I can't say any TS3 mod developer would have wanted to try to capitalize on that feature or emulate it the way that EA did.

It's sad. Maybe if I make they temporarily homeless, it works?

You can try that. But be prepared to revert to a prior save if the game or one of the mods decides that they no longer need to stay in your world and get shoved out permanently. Generally speaking, homeless sims are volatile. And if there are any babies or toddlers involved, they will definitely exit your game because the homeless "household" cannot accommodate those.

Yeah, this is very messy and extremely error prone. The game was never built with the intention that a Sim who is a resident wouldn't be in the world. A lot of code has issues when it encounters one that is missing which is why Overwatch pulls them back. Things like inventory and such are stored with the Sims body so when you delete it you have to save the inventory and restore it back... along with many other things. It's just not worth the trouble I'm afraid.

I don't understand, what you're talking about :-o In my town for a long time living homeless sims and they are stable. No incidents, no disappearances. My town needs them because they serve the cash registers in the shops. SP offered me to remove them, but, of course, I did not allow it. I think it depends on our settings.

Sara_Darkees - We aren't talking about assigned Role Sims here, those will be more stable with the possible exception of festival booth workers for the short time in between seasonal festivals during which they have nothing to do

We are talking about a resident household who might suddenly be rendered homeless by the player. StoryProgression can be set to attempt to "manage" them or not, Overwtach can be set to remove them or not. But regardless they will remain volatile and will not necessarily stay in the game.

I regularly check the population of my town. As a watchman, I keep the strictest records, everything is recorded in electronic and paper versions. The only unstable characters were taxi drivers. The rest were removed for the reason that I did not take into account the default settings of some mods. Only recently I was delighted that SP will never touch my beloved homeless again, but no! My resentment I, perhaps, will explain later, and now about possible problem Knight. I apologize if I'm not clear enough, but I'm not talking about role sims like paparazzi and tattoo artists. My town needs homeless sims who have no job, no role. It's weird, but others for servicing my cash registers won't be drawn in any way (however, these characters are still considered unemployed). In addition, once the game itself made one sim homeless. It happened after a certain resident of the town drowned in front of my eyes. Grim Reaper wouldn't take her because she was unlucky, so he just laughed and brought her back to life. This girl didn't come home after that. She became homeless and lived quietly in this category until I noticed this and brought her home. So, why am I writing all this: under certain conditions these characters are stable and not going anywhere. However, maybe I don't envisage overriding them with a mod. And I'd like to say that making them homeless isn't a good idea. The game like to redistribute the role, so that to meet allegedly went abroad character as a bartender would be an unexpected turn. Seriously, in this case, really interesting story emerges: someone tells you about his grandiose plans in France, which you begin to envy, and then you meet this character, moonlighting in a local eatery :D Maybe should send this family to the dead without killing anyone. Just put them in a different category. But is it possible?
