Hi! I’m new to this mod. How do you send multiple sims to uni that aren’t in the same household?

Thanks.

Cautiously. You don't really get to know someone well until you pull a few all-nighters studying with them before final exams. ;)

Sorry, just kidding. Hi there and welcome to NRaas. On City Hall or an in-game computer in the homeworld, NRaas > Traveler > Allowable Travelers > Friends

This will allow friends from different households to travel together; does the same for the Enroll (by phone/computer) to send them to Uni. Note that your sims must really be friends, so that's a relationship score of at least 40, as sims will not travel or go to Uni together if they don't know and like each other. Also, the actively being played household will be charged for everyone who goes that term, so you may want to settle things up after everyone gets back home.

At the end of the term, after the group returns to the homeworld, the friends will end up back in the households they came from.

Hey, I have read in the old website that you have to quit the game with this mod in order to prevent homeless sim from cluttering empty lots.
Does it still applies for v87? cause I don't see the warning label anymore.

Forgive me for necroing this thread, I felt my question isn't significiant enough to be made as a separate topic

Hi there. Please do not be afraid to start new threads when questions arise, it's not like we are going to run out of space for them here.

Not sure I understand the question entirely, but let me try to explain. The game itself with or without mods has a glitch whereby if you load a game (perhaps play for a while), save or not, and retreat to the Main Menu to load up or start a different game, then the contents of RAM are not cleared out entirely and data from the first session/world can get superimposed upon the next one with all sorts of issues thus created. The mere presence of the Traveler mod makes this glitch worse and more likely to happen. Thus it is always our recommendation, with or without Traveler or other mods, to quit the game entirely to the desktop (or Origin if relevant) before loading up a different save or new game from the current session.

The version of Traveler doesn't matter. The place I am thinking of where Traveler urgently prompts you to save, quit entirely, and reload before continuing would be after invoking a Change Hometown command on vacationing sims because the game needs that restart to finish processing the switch from one world to another being the active homeworld. If what you really meant was the dire warning on the mod's FAQ page here, the page is formatted a bit differently now out of necessity but the warnings are still there in bold under the Switching Homeworlds section.
