Is my game corrupted?

Post by MoMoll » January 3rd, 2019, 9:36 am

I am using Sunset Island 2.
Things were going well until week 3, when my sim got pregnant and had twins. By then she was already the Lead Guitarist. I had forgotten to get rid of maternity leave, so she had 8 days off. However, when I checked her job status 2 days later, it said 10 days off! The next day, it was 12 days off!
I reset her; no change! Every time I checked it fluctuated between 10 and 12 days. So, using MC, I advanced her career level. No change. Got fed up and made her a Rock Star, but she gets pennies for her concerts!

Issue number 2, her husband is in the film industry (no problem with his time off). However, the game created co-workers for him. After a week, they left and new ones were generated. Now these co-workers are marrying sims in town and having kids! So, I checked my population level and there are 89 sims. However, it only shows witches 2, when it should be witches 4!

I fear the game is totally corrupt for some reason.

Should I scrap it?

Hi there, MoMoll.

1 - NRaas > MC > (Sim) > Intermediate > Career > Days Off > -12 (or some other negative number; negative values take already accumulated days off away) and check status again. Does that clear the backlog?
(MC Cheats add-on module required)

2 - If the co-workers were homeless, I'm not sure their occult states will show up in various contexts like they would if they were residents. Maybe I am misunderstanding the exact question, but this doesn't sound like signs of corruption to me.

All sims residents, service, role and homeless should have their occult status show up when you check the Population.
But I think playable ghosts and aliens are an exception for them you have to use by Occult type filter.
