So while playing through my generational Sims 3 save, I noticed that the game said that Ayana Yuki (a townie from university, who's a good friend of one of the parents in the active family) is an elder and is going to die soon. This isn't right, since she's supposed to be about the same age as the parents in my active family, who are in their adult stage. So, I invited her over so that I could try to use NRaas or testingcheats to edit her in CAS and change her age to the adult stage, and...
The game isn't allowing me to do that. There are no options edit her... at all.
Help?

What if you add her in active family and make sim reset? Then edit in CAS (if this option appears) and back sim into old family.

I tried that but it got rid of her 2 bonus traits...

"Edit in CAS" option appears? You can select 2 bonus traits again, if you have MC Cheats. Click on sim -> MC -> Advanced options -> Traits.

I think that's because she's a mini-sim, not the actual sim who is still in university. The way to do this would be to use NRaas Traveler to disallow aging of sims in other worlds:
city hall or any computer>NRaas>Traveler>Ageless Foreign Sims>Sims University (and any other worlds you want)
That should stop her and all university sims from aging. Next time you send a sim to university you can use MC (probably with the Cheats module) to set her age back to whatever you want.
