If I'm not mistaken, there are also several untranslated lines in the Returner. More specifically - in social interactions. But this is a great opportunity to learn English

Unfortunately we're not set up to handle translation changes here yet. I'm hoping to address that in the new year.

Knight, sorry for offtopic, but I so wanted someone to make a normal localization for The Sims 2. It was only in a very old pirate version. Official translators made a bad joke of us. Their humor is sometimes not only not funny, it is disgusting. If I was about twelve years old, I would probably take it less negatively. But many players have also seen inaccuracies in the translation. Of course, the work is difficult and large-scale. And hardly anyone wants to do this old game. But what if..?

Sara_Darkees, firstly, I played a little in TS2 and that was a long time ago. Secondly, it is one thing to make the localization of the mod, which stores the strings of all languages in one file, and the other is to find the game localization file (and if localization was made by EA, they could encrypt file, right?). From the other side, if this localization was done by pirates, we can somehow found that file, but I have never done this before.

I have the same situation. More precisely, my first part of The Sims was The Sims 2. But I did not play it for long, because at that time it could not interest me. And now it seems that I missed a lot. There are many opportunities out there that are nowhere else. And I can even close my eyes to low-poly characters. But the translation is really frightening. In the Russian localization of the Sims 3 also has its own failes, but it's not critical. By the way, for fans of Sims 3 someone made a mod that corrects mistakes in the Russian localization. So I don't think these files are so unrecoverable and inaccessible. But the translation in The case of the Sims 2 can be really killer. It's not just a couple of mistakes. The whole translation is a mistake.

Sara_Darkees, so, I found it. Sims 3 stores all localizations in big files with name "FullBuild_p...". Maybe with Sims 2 similar situation. And I think we should to stop offtop and continue into private messages.
