I tried saving and reloading, and I tried opening another play with genetics window, but it still didn't work.

No matter what, the window is still stuck, and it's always there. Help!

Hi there. The only time I've seen this happen is when one of the parents/genetic donors selected on the original PwG window was a teen. We can't do that, the window will get stuck that way and the only way to get out of that is quit without saving, clear the scriptCache, and reload the most recent save but prior to when PwG was ever called up.

Might that be what happened here?

Oh... ok.

The save before this is 1 day behind though... I really need to remind myself to use Saver a lot more often.

EDIT: Also, yes, that is indeed what happened.

Ok, wait a second. Something weird just happened. I closed my game, "flushed out" the caches (aka deleting them), went back to the game, reloaded the save that had this PwG window issue...

...and the window is gone.

Thank god.

Sorry that happened, it still does to me once in a while when I'm not paying attention (the teen breaking PwG, I mean). Not sure that can be fixed, but we do have a request on the list for MC to block teens from ever being selected since having that ability is of course not helpful if this is what it's going to keep doing.

And good to know the UI fixed itself on reload without your losing any gameplay at all, that I wouldn't have expected!
