Baby Aging

Post by arathea » December 12th, 2018, 2:19 pm

I have set the baby stage to 4 days and NPC aging to last the same and it works but not always. Right now I have two half-siblings in town who were fathered at the same party (Hank Goddard had a glorious time.) and born at the same day. Now one of them just aged up to toddler while the other one has three more days left. Is there a way to fix this or do I have to check every newborn and adjust the days if neccessary?

Baby Aging

Sometimes uncontrollable babies have already supposedly lived a few days, although in fact it is not true. And once I had strange thing when until the end of growings remained negative the number of days. That's normal, I suppose. I've seen a mod that always allows characters from CAS to start their life stage from the beginning. But I don't know if there's any similar for characters that appear in the process of the game. And yes, what a boring parties my sims have...

I see this happen somewhat regularly on inactive Sims, and I'm pretty sure I've seen it an active Sims too. It's often (but not always) accompanied by notices erither from Overwatch or Errortrap about a "stuck aging check".

Recently I had twins where one of them got stuck aging and remained a toddler 4 or 5 days after the other one had aged up to child.
