Bedtime Story

No one knows everything this mod can do. Did you know you can tune the size of your sims nostrils with this mod? I'm kidding.

Bedtime Story

Post by littlelambsy » December 9th, 2018, 10:43 pm

I just looked and both options are there in Retuner, including one for toddlers. None of them are restricted, the only false setting is for non greeted sims. So, now how do I get that option in game? None of my kids have ever asked for a bedtime story and when I click on the bookcase I don't get an option to read a bedtime story. I've even clicked on the child and haven't got the option.

Probably way too obvious to have been overlooked, but doesn't the child have to be very tired to begin with?

Hmmm, I just looked and the child is very tired. So with the child active I clicked on her mother and no option for bedtime story. I made the mother active and clicked on the child, but no option to read to sleep or read bedtime story.  I'm looking under "friendly" options. I clicked on the bookcase with both mother and child active and still no options.

How about clicking on a bed, with the adult active? Still no dice?

Yes I tried that and "no dice" :) how do your sims read/ask for bedtime stories?

I don't even remember how I do player-directed, the bed was just a guess. But the children ask for them autonomously often enough. I think the next step, if you wish to pursue this, might be a test run with NRaas mods only in play to see if the interaction reappears, both in-game and on Retuner, in case something else you have in play might be interfering.
