"YourTemplateFinder" is another one, and it's been identified by Malwarebytes as a new tab/browser hijacker.
Blocked.

Another bad one has an "OPEN" button, plus the text "Start Download - View PDF", and the site it's promoting is free.fromdoctopdf.com. I tried to post a pic, but it didn't work.
Blocked several from fromdocopdf.com.

I am using an Ad Blocker, so I didn't see these ads. Just wondering: do we get revenue from these ads showing up or are they a condition of hosting here? Thanks!

I've had no ads shwoing up here so far and I've got adblockers on Firefox v39.
They are per impression so ad blockers are cutting into revenue. This site is now on a rather expensive dedicated server to handle the 20,000 page views we've been getting per day. If you want to support us, I'd recommend allowing ads on our domain. I am already aware who is blocking ads due to logging and am keeping an eye on the numbers to see if I need to invest time into code that will block those using such blockers to lower load and costs. We are using a reputable ad server to ensure there's no virus serving ads. Browser technology has improved to get rid of a lot of that in recent years anyhow. Per above, I am actively keeping on top of those that would be misleading to users and could possibly harm them if clicked and they installed something. Eventually I plan other methods to support the site that will include the incetive of an ad free experience but I have no plans to charge for downloads or access to here. I think we can work together to keep this resource online for many more years. :)

Ad blockers are great, but you should disable it for sites you want to support, like NRaas.

What? Only half of my message showed up, and I can't see the smiley?

The emoticons can be a bit fussy. Try typing them in code, if you can. For example, a colon and a right parenthesis : plus a ) gives this :)

Sure, I can do that. =) Oops, that's my preferred smiley. ^^

I've had to use adblockers though I turned one of them off for here though I can't disable all of them without having the site ending up failing to load or hanging onloading and eventually crashing the browser. Our internet is slow and frequiently drops out as it is until it's upgraded.

Thank you Chain_Reaction for your work to prevent harmful ads. Also for making then unobtrusive, unlike many other sites these days.

Also, I don't pay attention to how many (if any) ads my adblocker blocks. I also don't think the old WIki had ads (I know it was much cheaper to run) so it did not occur to me to check if this site did. As a result, I did not even know to exempt this site until I saw this thread. Of course I want to support this site so I exempted it.

I thought I should let you know since there may be others that also don't know to exempt this site.

Not seeing this one yet, unless the domain is something without those words in it. I'll keep looking.

I agree! On The Sims Resource you have to go through multiple steps to report bad ads and contact the ad service company directly. I've done that, but got a standard reply that they trust the source they are getting the ads from blah blah... TSR have ads from scammers that claim that you can win gift cards from swedish store chains if you play "fun little games", but in reality they are collecting personal info (and your money). The store chains have warnings about these scams on their customer support pages. And then the droves of ads for the browser hijackers. I like TSR, but hope that they could find a solution to the bad ad problem.
