Occult school idea
Let's make the rabbit hole version first and then worry about the Open version. BTW can anyone tell me how to make that. Is there a guide someone can link me to?

Have you looked at the Careers mod Schools add-on module that allows for the existing specialty schools? It's really all (I think all, or the relevant parts mostly anyway) tuning. Seems to me that one should be able to duplicate all of the blocks of code in the reachable XML files for one of the existing specialty schools and then change the attributes to allow for a new one. I would likely get hung up first on the official names of some of the lot types that would have to be specified, though you might be already ahead of me there.SkyDome007 post_id=59725 time=1541926876 user_id=16668 wrote:

Hopefully someone will correct me on the above if I've over-simplified things or if some deeper hook is required to get the game and/or MC and SP to recognize a new lot type as hosting a school. But seems to me this shouldn't really be as difficult as creating a mod or even a custom career.

I think this is a great idea. You could put witches in the gypsy wagon and give the vault of antiquity to werewolves. I can't really think of a good place for them otherwise. Maybe the mausoleum? No, that makes less sense.SkyDome007 wrote: ↑November 8th, 2018, 7:58 amHey everyone!

It's too bad about Zerbu's mod. Making it non-rabbithole would be fun.
Another idea would be to simply create another school work tone where each one can work on their occult skills. That might actually be easier to implement.

I thought of Harry Potter, too. I was thinking about this a couple of days ago and wondering if a Boarding School option for occult sims would be possible. Rabbithole schools would be ok, too. For me, I like your idea of schools in rabbitholes for occult, especially for witches, then I can build my own magical school using Zerbu's Ultimate Career to make it open.
Wait, can we do that with Zerbu's Ultimate Career mods?
