Deleting Export/Import Files from MC

Post by Bowlady1955 » October 30th, 2018, 1:28 pm

Is there a way to delete old MC Export/Import files? Since I'm still learning my way around NRAAS and all the different Mods, I would like to delete "my experiments" So I don't get any more confused then I already am.

Thanks again for all the wonderful effort and work into making Sims 3 alot more fun to play.

Cheers

The exported settings are stored in the Library folder as package files. When you previously exported the settings, did you rename the file in your Library folder? If so, you can just delete them directly from there.

If you didn't rename them, the only other way I know of to delete them would be from within Edit Town in-game. They will appear in the same place as saved households (the first tab called "Show Households" in Edit Town) but the thumbnails will be blank. Hovering over them with your mouse will show the name that you saved them as. Once you've found the one you want to delete you will need to click on it but be aware that it may take several seconds for the information box to pop up at the side of the screen. Once that has appeared, you can then click the little bin icon button to delete that file. :-)

Edit: Sorry, meant to add a link to the FAQ which gives more details about this.
