Master Controller gig opportunity always takes 2 days

Post by AlHollandiyah » October 15th, 2018, 1:39 pm

Hey, I have a question about forcing a band opportunity with master controller. No matter what I pick, it always plans the gig from the opportunity 2 simdays ahead of where we are. I have read in the forums that some players have had daily gigs or even two gigs on one day, how can I do this with MC? Any tip is welcome, thank you very much!

Yeah the gig thing is a very weird working thing, I almost gave up.
But you can also try Debugenabler: Click on the Stage its
DEBUG: Schedule Gig tonight.

Clicking on the stage! Thank you very much, that was the last place where I would have looked. As for the gig casting, isn't that from another mod?

When I use debug enabler to 'schedule gig tonight' nothing happens, no matter if I do it just after the place opens or later in the day. As for the gig casting with the mixologist, if I click the mixologist I can talk to them and moonlight at the bar and stuff like that, but there is no gig caster option. Am I missing something vital here? I hope you can help me! Thanks!

How did you make your stage?
You need a paragraph floor (don't know the english name) look here:

I'm just curious, while searching I found this video - a sim with career singer can join a band and all are performing together
gosh - I didn't know that, how cool

Well, you need one I suppose otherwise, as you described, you won't get the right options.

There are plenty of ready made stages in Bridgeport, I have done gigs on those by forcing an opportunity with master controller. Which works but only gives me gigs that I have to wait 2 whole days for. And I do get the option to schedule gig tonight in debugenabler, but if I click it nothing happens. So I'm not sure what I am missing here?
