Modyfing objects' 'popularity'

Post by szahra » October 14th, 2018, 5:44 am

Hello
I am pretty new here, so please excuse me if this is a wrong place to post it.
I have been wondering if there is a mod that changes Sims' willingness to use certain objects (Sims 3).
I usually play the game in a 'spectator' mode with highly autonomous sims. Unfortunately they tend to favor certain objects completely neglecting everything else I prepared for them (i.e. nobody plays pool or uses a bubble bar when there is a dancefloor around – only jacuzzi is able to lure them away for a brief period). I'd love to modify these relations so that my sims become a bit more 'versatile' when it comes to various activities. Is it even possible?
Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
How popular an object is is calculated with a simple score.
The Mod you are looking for is Retuner. After you added it to your game, clich on the city Hall go to Nraas-> Retuner and enable the objects menu.
Now you can just click on the object you want to modify, choose Nraas-> Retuner and then general if you always want to change the behaviour then go to advertised Output. There your have all the categories for the Score. Like Fun or certain Traits. If you want an interaction to happen more increase the number, if you want it to happen less decrease it.
