Tell us what's wrong with this place. But first please check that your Windows disc isn't corrupt and your modem isn't on fire.

I love the new site layout but....

Post by Gamesquid17 » October 10th, 2018, 5:12 pm

Why are the thread headings so cramped together and overlayed without any space to separate them? For example ealrlier I had found an avatar overlaying some of the words making it harder to read the thread heading and no spell check. I'm sorry if I had hurt any feelings,I just wanted to express my thoughts about the new site.

They look fine to me. Maybe you should give more info, like if you are on a phone or desktop/laptop and what browser you are using?

Chain_Reaction has done a really good job, but I guess there are a couple of things that need to be fixed, and maybe it looks fine on his computer but he can't check how it works on every browser or device, so that's one of the reasons there is this help and feedback section. :)

The issue with the avatar is tied to one user and will be addressed. Spell check is being looked into. The threads look fine to me so you'll have to provide more details like Cororon mentioned.

They look fine on my new laptop. I meant that the words sit too close together and some overlap each other. Like this one for example.Image

Images cannot (or should not) be uploaded to the forum. They have to be hosted at a third party site and a link to them used to embed them within message board posts. A link to a file that is on your computer and not on the web would not be understood correctly.

I use Mediafire, maybe others with Imgur could comment if things are different with that one. But I haven't had any trouble embedding images using the square bracket IMG and /IMG codes. The Image button on the edit toolbar should do the same thing if you can get it to work.

Imgur does appear to allow hotlinking.
You need to get the link that is assigned to your image when it is uploaded, and then post it with or without the img tags.
