I'm looking for a mod that is 404'd on most other sites (that I checked prior to this one) 

This was a mod for The Sims 1 that turned off every stereo in town OTHER than the one in your house. Which fixed a wider issue with game music (notably, build mode themes).

Without this mod, the game has effects music (like tv's, action clicking sounds, microwaves) BUT NOT game music. 

I am on an unpatched, 1.0 version of the base Sims 1 client. Whilst I'm also on this forum, which mods in the mods section are for Sims 1 (If any at all?)

Hi there. Welcome to NRaas, but I'm afraid to say that you are kind of in the wrong place. This site is totally devoted to the provision and support of the collection of TS3 mods that were originally designed by Twallan. There is no content for other sims' games here.

I think part of the confusion and quite possibly what led you here is that what was originally also called SuperComputer for TS3 evolved into what we now call MasterController and Overwatch what must be eight years ago now. But that's nothing to do wtih TS1.

Unless there are others here who recall what you are seeking and know where to find it, you might want to bring this question to the TS1 board on MTS or maybe the Legacy Games section of the EA forums. There are still TS1 fans out there and actively playing.
