I don't know if this is a bug or a feature, but sims who mind meld and happen to gain KS skill sometimes (?), always (?), get 10 levels of KS. Even if the sim they mind meld with had less (level 8 and level 5 in the two times I've seen this).

That's due to KS being a notch based system but the skill system being a points system. It adds a large amount of points to the skill which Woohooer then thinks is notches and thus you get a level 10 easily. It would have been better if he had implemented it as a skill points per woohoo system to not alienate the core but alas he didn't. To fix I'd have to rewrite the mind meld interaction. I'll make a note.
