Off topic a bit but am I not able to manage resorts while using traveler unless I make the isles my new homeworld? I dont see the option under real estate to become owner, or when clicking one of the resorts like the hideaway

Another player recently reported success with foreign resorts by doing Traveler > Treat as Vaction > False. That would be on City Hall or an in-game computer within the world being visited. Note that you will have to switch Treat as Vacation back to True in order to return home. False doesn't really end the vacation, but it causes things like having to go to work/school to become viable in foreign worlds. Though of course you may not want your sims to have to go to work or school while on such a trip, so it could be a trade-off.

Not sure if this is an unintended loophole or by design at this point. The other way is to move to the world permanently then move back home permanently again later.

Sweet. Im guessing editing town and making a lot ownable might work also.

Ownable is for Residential lots. I'm pretty sure Resorts are Commercial, at least if you want to have any customers at all, no?
