I'm not sure why this is occurring, but whenever my sims travel (in this case, to Isla Paradiso via Tralever), I am able to select and confirm a choice for my vacation rental.

However, after I initially press the checkmark, it just greys out and nothing more happens. I can continue to click around, preview the inside of lots, and re-select other lots, but it never progresses beyond that initial screen and the greyed out checkmark won't become clickable again.

Does anyone have any thoughts as to the source of this issue or any possible solutions? I have the University EP installed, if that makes a difference.

Do you get any script errors?

No script errors- it just continually sits there. I let it sit for 30+ minutes thinking maybe it would take some time, but after I waited that long, I just forced the game close (since the main menu doesn't come up with any options to quit the game that way).

I know this is an old thread but I'm suddenly having this same problem when I travel to Isla Paradiso. I've tried many times, with different households and each time I choose a home to rent, click the checkmark, it greys out and nothing happens.

@redshoe7 - Hi there. Wow yes, this thread was from a long time ago. Much here has been updated since then. Are you on the most recent version of Traveler, currently v87, and do you have Overwatch and ErrorTrap in play as well? And is the issue specific to Isla Paradiso -- as a test, can you travel your sim(s) to a different vacation destination and select lodging okay?

I believe this was traced to a mod but I'm having trouble recalling which it was.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. You guys are awesome! I don't think I'm on the very latest version but I haven't had this problem before. I'll try updating and see if it helps. I have Overwatch and ErrorTrap. And the problem is only happening with IP. I tried traveling to other worlds and had everything worked. I only want to get to IP so I can save a house that I have there to the library. I'd hate to lose all the changes I made to it. Thanks again!

Let us know how that goes, and indeed give it a try with only NRaas mods in play (script cache cleared) to speak to Chain's recollection. But seems to me that if all you need to do is load up that instance of Isla Paradiso in order to copy a lot that already exists, there then there should also be some other ways to go about it.

a - Use Traveler to transition to Isla by removing all sims from the right side of the travel screen. The "travel" transition will still play with "no sims on board," but when you get there the game should ask which local household you would like to play instead of where would you like to stay.

b - If you have another saved game or can create one where active play is already in Isla Paradiso, seems like you should be able to copy the nhd file of this one into the other game, thus replacing the original in that game, and then load that save up with the already played one becoming the active world.

Updating Traveler did not help.
I tried using the nhd file in a new game before my original post and that did not help.
But traveling without any sims allowed me to get to Isla Paradiso and save my beautiful house.

I think what you've proven here is that something (unknown) is/was wrong with that instance of Isla P. But glad you got your house extracted from it.
