Hello. First of all I would like to thank the NRAAS teams for creating really cool mods now that my game runs 90% smoothly (except Bridgeport and Islo Paradiso though the lags have been greatly reduced). However I recently encountered a few glitches. My Sims suddenly had a new boss but they didn't have the same career and it already happened twice. First I played as Hunter Cottoneye in Riverview and he had a culinary career. Out of the blue, he had a new boss, who I saw in his description, had a Science career. Then it happened again when I played Parker Langerak save and he had a new boss, who was his dad whose career was in Sport. I only got several Nraas mods like MasterController (base and cheat mods), StoryProgression (base, relationship, career and money), overwatch, errortrap, go here, traffic, register, debug enabler and cupcake, and two other mods from other sites, no aliens mod from MTS and no spoiled food in fridge from simasylum and I couldn't figure out which mod that caused this glitch. Could you please help me?

Hi there, and welcome to NRaas.

I've seen what you have described as well and I don't think it's a glitch. I believe that when a household purchases the lot in which a career is hosted for investment purposes, such as a bistro lot, then the new owner can become the boss of those who work there even though they are in a different career themselves. With SP/SP Money, inactive sims can purchase their own investments.

Regardless though, in what way is this causing a problem with your gameplay?

Oh I see. So how do I turn off any inactive Sims from purchasing lots/venues? It was quite okay when my sim's father invested in his career venue, but when it came to random resident whom he barely knew, it was upsetting he had to suck up to the new boss since relationship with bosses affected his performance.

Oh once more, why every time my sim returned from travelling to Egypt, China, France, University Town and Oasis Landing, ErrorTrap always toggled notifications which showed pet hygienator in it? I tried to read the script error but I didn't get it.

Nope, not seeing the problem (wait, don't get angry I'm just kidding here). If your new boss needs to be sucked up to and they couldn't be bothered hanging around the workplace during shift hours, then your sims can invite them over and do that on their own time.

On City Hall or an in game computer, NRaas > SP > Town Options > Money: Allow Purchase Deeds > False. I believe that restricts the option so that inactives cannot do it but leaves it open for your active sims who might want to invest later.

Afraid we can't comment on the pet hygienator script log until we've actually read it.

Oh, and you will probably want to use MasterController's Ownership command to sell the property out from under the current unwanted owner.

Thank you for helping me out. Actually I tried to have my sim buy the full property of his career venue and now it was stated his husband was his own boss. Well I guess it got better. Sorry if I was too dumb or something, maybe I missed something when I read the interaction so I freaked out that I thought it was a glitch lmao. Unfortunately I had already got rid of the scripts. Perhaps one day when I send my sims out travelling then return home and Error Trap shows another pet hygienator script error, I'll upload it. xx
