Sims in home world becoming bot builders?

Post by BebopCola » November 2nd, 2013, 6:32 pm

It appears that Sims in my home world are receiving pushes to become self-employed bot builders despite not having a bot workshop or anything to progress the career.

You could just disable the career so SP stops assigning sims to it.

I did, but that's not really the point.

As I understand it, StoryProgression pushes Sims to join the self-employed careers, but is only supposed to do so when they have the equipment for them on their lots. There's not much point in joining the Nectar Maker career without a Nectar Maker object to do the job, for example. Same goes for Bot-Maker.

It's just a heads up for future tweaks of the mod.

If the sim does not have a specific dream career, the mod simply chooses one at random. Such would include the bot making career, which under EA Standard has no special conditions for employment.

Thanks for the report. :)
