Questions about Retuner

No one knows everything this mod can do. Did you know you can tune the size of your sims nostrils with this mod? I'm kidding.

Questions about Retuner

I have a few questions about this mod, the first being about the Time Machine settings, I would like to disable the surprise children when I use the thing (stopping the random families is optional), but I still want to keep the outfit unlocks and inventory items.

I have an old mod that used to stop the Time Machine surprises, but its no longer working and that mod hasn't been updated in a long time.

Another question is about a way to stop dogs from automatically trying to "Growl At" and "Chase!" the mailman, this is extremely annoying behavior to try to cancel out with split second timing to keep my dog from being aggressive.

I can't answer for the retuner, but for the dog, you can always scold it for the aggressive behavior. Eventually, it will stop.

I scold the dog every time she tries to harass the mailman and she still keeps attempting to do it, I have gotten to the point of making sure the dog is doing some other action around the time the mailman shows up so I can cancel the aggressive behavior before it hits the beginning of the action que, but this still requires split second timing to catch the bad actions.

Were you using this mod: Time Machine Mods By Chaavik? If so, yes the mod is outdated, cause with EP Supernatural Release EA added Fairy tuning onto it and that is what missing with Chaavik mod.

If you can tell me which flavor you were using, I might be able to update that will make it compatible with patch 1.67. Or given you instructions which things you'll need to change in Retuner so you have the same outcome as the mod.

<u>Growl At and Chase Tuning</u>

When you activate Show Object Menu in Retuner (CityHall> NRaas> Retuner> Show Object Menu> True), you then are able to click the Dog and request a list with all Autonomous behavior in Retuner what it may do (Click on Dog> NRaas> Retuner> General>).

In that list you'll find the Chase Mean or Play which you then are able to set the "Allow Autonomous" to False, so they only do it on command. BUT ... if the Pet has a "Aggressive Trait", there is unfortunately no way with just Retuner to affect it, you might want to consider changing that trait to something else.

As for the Growl At, I can't see a direct related tuning in that list, perhaps its an action before "Chase", "Guard" that's triggering that. Or maybe I overlooked it within that list ;-)

I think the time machine part on Retuner is working, I disabled the time altering effects, I just need to do more testing to make sure.

I will look into the other setting to help with the dog issue, none of its current traits are the "Aggressive" one.

Seems like disabling Chase Mean worked after reloading the save, or it could be that after I got the "No Bills Ever" Life Time Reward for my sims, the dog finally stopped harassing the mailman.
