Sorry, but the mod in question is not compatible with many NRaas mods and, judging from its evolution this far, likely never will be. Its use is not supported here.

But I'm confused by what you mean when you say "tried to download." You should be able to remove the mod, clear the game folder's cache files, and start a new game without it if this is what you wanted. Not so?

Just to add the KW mod has been also known to break and corrupt the game core and other game files to the point that only a complete game reinstall can fix at least the earlier versions did can't say if it still happens with the current version but I wouldn't be surprised if it still does.

Ah. This I didn't know.

But NRaas mods are designed to protect our games and preserve gameplay. That other mod does not, it is very heavy-handed and we know it shortens the life of ongoing game saves to which it is (successfully) introduced. They are, by definition, pretty much opposing forces.

Although I rarely recommend this, it does sound like an uninstall (clean the Registry) and re-install might be in order. But none of this was arranged on purpose, it's just what can happen if an external force is allowed to affect the game core like that.

It depends on how long or how often they use the mod but generally from my observations and that of a few others when you start getting constantly spam with unroutable sim notices then KW is breaking things YMMV.
Even with a clean folder and without KW you'll notice that things just don't work right anymore.

Okay, then I think we agree on the recommendation. It's not really appropriate to discuss this mod here, but I will leave this thread open for now so the OP can report back on whether they have success with a re-install (and without the other mod) if that is what they choose to do. Otherwise we will have to lock this one up and let the conversation continue by way of PMs.

Thanks for understanding. :)

From a programming perspective I'll tell you there's no access to I/O in the core outside of a engine call to write script error files so the chances of a mod being able to corrupt anything outside of the save game data is pretty much 0.
