MC ValidParts file?

Post by BlackKatte » November 6th, 2016, 3:48 am

I have found the MC InvalidParts tuning file, but can't find one for VALID parts. Is there one?

The ValidParts tuning is part of Dresser FAQ. That link should take you to the second question on the Dresser FAQ page where step 3 explains about valid parts tuning and there's also a link to our Blacklisting tutorial if you need it. :-)

Sorry, meant to give you the link to Dresser Phase Seven Tuning as well. The ValidParts file is at the bottom of the page. :-)

Thanks Sarah, I have the Dresser Invalid/ValidParts files (the tutorial was hugely helpful, wouldn;t have had a chance of figuring it out without it) . But I just found out there's also a MC InvalidParts which apparently (I'm quite new to this) affects CAS. So I was wondering if there was also an MC ValidParts. No worries if not. :-)

No, sorry, I don't believe there is an MC ValidParts file. I think the idea behind this is that you know which parts you want to use when you go into CAS whereas if you want Dresser to pick the outfits for your sims, it needs to be told which parts it can use. There is always the Easy CASP Editor program (to hide parts in CAS) but that would involve a LOT of clicking and it only works if you're NOT on Patch 1.69. Sorry I don't have any more suggestions for you but hope some of this is helpful. :-)
