Sim can't go to work & MC's CAS issues

Hi, I'm oh so very new and it was recommended to start a forum after uploading a script error file about an issue...

Sooooooo, where do I start...

Firstly, I not too recently updated my mods (Master Controller & Cheats) and added a new mod as well (Extended Tattoos). As usual I tested them out in game to see any changes and possible issues; I didn't, so I ended the game, restarted my PC, and started playing my usual family.

Secondly, When I was testing out the Extended Tattoo mod I had recently downloaded, I set "naked tattoo" to "true" to see exactly where the tattoo would be and how they would look. Testing on both male and female sims. The issues I came across were that the hairstyles would change when they (both male and female) would load naked, but I didn't see it as a real problem other than how annoying it might become. And when testing it out for my female sim, she loaded with a CC shirt as a naked top, but my male sims was completely naked.
After fiddling around, I turned "Naked Tattoo" back to "false" and checked the shirt that showed up for naked on my female to see if it was set to "naked"; It was not and neither were any of my other CC. So I removed the top from my game to see if it would go away, but when she was taking a bath a BG shirt showed up. It's a white, elbow length shirt. I then forgot about it and thought when she ages up it'll go away. But so far I haven't aged her up, but I will post if the issue goes away. I also received a script error when changing her outfit in MC's CAS. It bascally said something about "AddGridItem" I thought that might have to to with me taking the top out or something. But I'll know soon hopefully after the mod creator views it.

Next, My newly made male sim will not go to work. I've had issues with sims not going to work b/c of them not being in their "Career" outfit and whatever, but this is new. So, I set up my sim's traits, and skills, and yada yada with Master Controller. Then I decided, "oh, I haven't played with a sim that works in the police department in a while so I make him, Level 5 and choose the Forensic Specialist branch".
After a sim day, I got the notification saying the carpool will pick him up in 2 or 3 hours or something. So I get him ready, he's in his uniform, and then I see how long he's got before he goes to work, and it says 1 hour. But the carpool wasn't anywhere to be seen and I didn't hear any honking so I clicked the "go to work" button and it says "It's not your working hours. Come back in 1 hour." But usually sims will go to work at the 1 or 2 hour mark. I waited to see if it would say "missing work" but It just reset to 1 day. Then I thought maybe he has a vacation day or something but he didn't and the problem continued to happen.
(my other sim is self-employed so I can only guess this was happening to just this one sim)
I then decided to just make him quit through Master Controller, and then re-employ him again though the computer and then change his level though Master Controller. The issues continued, whether I used Master Controller or not. So my guess is that I have to delete him and then place him back in the game. I have not tested this yet but I have a feeling it would work, or at least I hope it will.

Hi there, and welcome to NRaas. I'm not familiar with that particular MC error. We'll need one of my colleagues or a coder to explain where it's coming from. It does sound like your police officer might have a corrupt career outfit though. While we're waiting, can he go to work if you put him on a level before the career branches, so possibly Level 4?

But on the MC and Expanded Tattoo recent addition, did you also add the file labeled CMar_XCAS_TattooLocations_v2 as indicated on <a href="http://nraas.wikispaces.com/MasterContr ... elve">this page</a> at the same time and do you have any of CMar's XCAS mods from here as well? Can't tell from your one script log, but if so there's a potential conflict issue there.

Hi there and welcome to NRaas,

For the ExpandedTattoo issue, you will need one extra MC module for it to run properly. As it's a CAS feature, you will require to have an adjusted CAS version too enable all these options: <a href="http://nraas.wikispaces.com/MasterContr ... Controller Integration</a> (see the Notes Section of the <a href="http://nraas.wikispaces.com/MasterContr ... ndedTattoo Download Page</a>).

As too the Carpool issue you are experiencing, the police force work location is this a combined RabbitHole location with the CityHall and Military? If it is, some have reported several career issues with the Combo RH, you might want to try to split those up in loose RH's, side-effects are that you will have to put those Sims back in the new RH's jobs as removing a Combo RH will put all Sims who were working there out of there current occupation.
See if that works, if not come back to us.

Lastly, a recommendation on mods:
<ul class="quotelist"><li>[URL=https://wwww.nraas.net/community/Overwa ... erwatch</a> has clean ups once a day (3 am) to get rid of unnecessary/obsolete object codes and recovers stuck Sims more better than the EA way. There are also a lot of silence checks the mod does, if certain things goes out of wack (corrupt outfit, stuck in aging, fixes genealogy, etc).</li><li><a class="wiki_link" href="/ErrorTrap">ErrorTrap</a> also cleans up your saves of obsolete things when you load up your game. Catch any errors caused by the game core or any mods that runs on the background that otherwise goes silently by, it will produce ScriptErrors that you then can upload on our site for further examination.</li><li><a class="wiki_link" href="/Register">Register</a> solves the Service issue, where under EA default the game will stop filling up slots that requires them due to unavailability of Homeless Sim(Bars, Cash registers, Venue stages), Register will do this on command.</li><li><a class="wiki_link" href="/Traffic">Traffic</a> fixes a bug with endless uncontrollable making of Icecream/Food trucks or taxi's.</li><li><a class="wiki_link" href="/Traveler]Traveler[/URL], when you like to travel between worlds, it has fixes that has a more reliable way to keep the internal data of a Sim intact when it travels.</li></ul>There are more I can suggest, but these mods or something I can't do without.

Also please do keep in mind to compress your uploads of scripterrors on our site, through WinZip or any other compression tool (7Zip / WinRAR). Such as documented in here: <a class="wiki_link" href="/How%20To%20Upload#How">How To Upload</a>

Ahh.. yeah, the level branching like igazor wrote. That could also be something to look for, try what he suggested on the carpool issue.

- @igazor For the Expanded Tattoo mod, No, I only have the two files from Nraas,
- @J4Ks yes it is. How exactly do I split them up? Do you mean I have to place them separately on their own lots? Okay, will download the recommended mods. :)
- Omg, thank you and I love you both (I'm not creepy I swear). I'll try both suggestions and come back to post updates on these issues.

Try igazor's method first to see if the level branching caused the carpool issue.

If that didn't solve it, yes you have to place them on their own lots (separate City Hall -, separate Military - and separate Police RH). You can build it yourself, or you can load up an old EA Town (Sunset Valley / Riverview and few others) to get an already build solo RH buildings by going into Edit Town and save them to the Community Lots Bin, once done quit the game. Restart and load up your save and go into Edit Town\ Community Lots and find the buildings you just saved and place them on an empty lot.

The hard part would be to find empty lots with those exact measurements, since some or quite large.

Soooo, I ended up just restarting my whole game, in fact just my laptop entirely. Due to other technical issues and I ended up replacing it yada yada... So I currently have no way of tell you guys whether or not those solutions worked. but...
- I found all 3 lots large enough for the police station, city hall, and military, but I cannot provide info on how it affected my sim going to work, because I wasn't able to play it yet.
- I installed the Integration, Overwatch, and ErrorTrap, but I cannot provide info on how it affected my game because i wasn't able to play it yet (agaaainnn).
- Also I started from Level 4, and my sim was still unable to go to work.

This, so far, is all that I can give :(
