In reply to your message I want to say that I'd like to make my sim Service. Yes, I know that Service sims are not controlled, but social menu must be on sim. At the end I don't need to return sim back to the active family. I just want to see if it breaks completely and forever. By the way, I tried to use the Reset MC after he had become a firefighter. However when the SIM was nps-Service the MC Reset didn't help. In order to clarify, I want the option to work correctly on resident sims.

This option is meant to be used to set residents as service NPC's. They are removed from their household when you do so because they cannot be playable or exist in the town. Each one has special rules, one of which you're running into and frustrating you because of how they aren't meant to be strongly interacted with outside of their jobs. This is EA removing the socials on firefighters. If you notice during a fire they don't have socials. They only get re-enabled after the fire is out. You can use DebugEnabler's Re-enable socials on sim function on them to turn them back on after EA removes them.

Chain_Reaction, I think you haven’t read my messages yet. I know nps may not be available during the service (for example when they fight fire). But if my sim makes a telephone call in free time they can be invited to home to just have fun. They come without uniform and act like normal guests. But MC removes the social menu permanently on on those sims (if I have made a sim into nps-Service sim using MC). It doesn't have to be like this, you know. If this option exists, it must work without such serious errors, right? Earlier I have attached the screenshots. I'm sorry for wasting your time , but could you take a look at it? If this option has a a seriously error and it can't be fixed because the nraas-developers aren't dealing with these issues anymore, just say it. It's very sad, but I'll accept it...

I don't think you understood Chain's response.

Chain has confirmed where the missing socials come from, it's the game itself doing that on off-duty fire fighter service sims not the mods. And he offered a solution which I hadn't thought of and have not tested yet.

Use the command he indicates from a different mod, DebugEnabler, to re-enable the social interactions on the off-duty service fire fighter.

Oh, sorry. I confess at first I didn't realise he meant one more mod. Вug in game actually, right? Thank you for link. I'll be sure to install and test it.

Not sure it's a bug exactly, but more like an unintended consequence. Under EA standard, we aren't really meant to be socializing with Service Sims as much as we can with the mods in play and as much as you wish. That the Enable Social flags gets stuck on disabled may actually be intended game behavior, even if it's not at all what we might want.

The DebugEnabler suggestion worked fine for me on both an already restored to the household sim and one who was never part of the household. All socials were restored. And my sim is now out in the backyard, got tired of socializing and is giving flowers to and kissing the fire fighter. Or maybe it's the repo sim. I don't think they care. But I guess that's too much information. :)

On the target sim, NRaas > DE > Options:Sim (or Smartphone) > Sim > Enable Socials.

Yes, I used the option ">>Sim... >>Enable Social" and social menu appeared. Yay, finally. I still have a problem with sending them home (well, to nps-libraries) immediately, but it's not such a big problem. I think, I handle this on my own. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. You really helped me.
