Ok awesome, I definitely should be able to work with that. Give me some time and I'll get back to you.

I was redirected here not sure if the info I have may help. But my sims tried to take a Taxiboat on a river that is way too small for them to be used and got stuck in an infinite loop of calling the taxiboat and going back to land recall the boat back to land etc...
I don't have GoHere installed
In fact they actually went out of their way to call the boat

This bug is a bug. I directed a Sim to the location you said and then clicked B and she did as I programmed. Took the same path you lined out but swam instead of grabbing the boat. Back and forth, no boat. Just when I was giving up, I had her closer to the water and instructed her to swim back to A and suddenly there was a boat and she was in the sky. Tried again, no boat. Figured it out. It works when you direct them from a far distance to a spot and when they are close to their destination at start but it fails if they are a medium distance and near the body of water they must cross start due to varying usage of the routing code (heh, see why I couldn't reproduce this?).

The good news is I think I fixed it by forcing the routing engine to replan the route if it considers a boat (which causes a slight pause to them while the code thinks when they reach the water edge). At least I can't easily get them to pull the boat again. Not sure when I'll release it due to GoHere being a bit of a mess at the moment but I'll get it out eventually.

Excellent! I know, it's rather tricky to get a glitch sometimes, isn't it? I feared you would say 'cannot reproduce' :)
Look forward to the update, and thank you!
