Two Schools

Post by KarinVF » March 24th, 2018, 4:32 pm

So. I've run into the overcrowding school issue. I wanna have a school for the kids and one for the teens. I run into Igazor's comment about it in the sims 3 forums about it. I have Story Progression and now I have Go Her. But how do I continue ? I also know I need to delete both schools and the put them back in the game. I know castes are involved but I have no clue about them. A step by step walktrough would be very appreciated.

The steps required are covered in the last entry on this SP FAQ page, cleverly hiding under the "Employment" category because schools are considered the "employers" of those who attend them. :)

The step you need is to Lot Options restrict one school lot to require that those using it be teens and restrict the other one to require that those using it NOT be teens. On the lot or its map tag for the high school, NRaas > SP > Lot Options > Caste:Require > Teenagers and the same except Caste:Disallowed > Teenagers for the elementary school. Then bulldoze and replace both school rabbithole buildings to force a (somewhat) immediate reassignment. Some of us find it takes a couple of tries and maybe a sim day or a Save As and a reload for the changes to "stick."
