Since installing GoHere my Sims can't go anywhere

Post by omamemmie » September 3rd, 2017, 6:33 am

I installed GoHere earlier and since I can't instruct my Sims to go anywhere anymore, which seems to me to be the exact opposite intention of the mod. :D Whenever I click the floor anywhere, nothing happens. I get no option to "go here". No scripterror is created either, so I have nothing to upload. I'm guessing something is conflicting, but I have no idea what it might be. Any ideas?

Hi there. No of course that's not quite the intent of the mod, or we would have called it CantGoThere. :)

I guess we should start with which patch level is your game on, which version of GoHere have you downloaded, and did you clear the scriptCache.package file after installing the mod but before starting up the game? Have you let the game clock run since starting up with the mod in place?

On a less obvious note, yes there could be something conflicting. Perhaps try a test run with NRaas mods only, scriptCache cleared again, and see if you get better results. If you do, the conflict would have to be with something that had just been removed. If not, something else is wrong and I would suggest perhaps downloading the mod again and replacing the one you do have (and again clear the scriptCache, as you can see I'm rather obsessive about that).

Hi, thanks for your reply and apologies for not providing required information earlier. My game is fully patched, I downloaded the latest version of GoHere and I always, always delete the scriptCache (I delete all cache files every time). And yes, I always let the game clock run for a bit before doing anything.
I will try your suggestion of running the game with NRaas Mods only.
