Every time I keep returning to the same method of using the alphabet instead of the number. I added a good half my cc at the start, then added about half of that, then about half of that...and then I realized that soon I would only be adding just two or three at a time, then one at a time. I would have to start new games and go through startup and intro and everything just to test two things, for a single file if that pace continued.

I can't change that idea in my head. I don't know how to do so.

But now the game won't even start up. I'm clicking on the icon and it doesn't do anything. I even closed Origin and tried to reopen and nothing happened.

I added the last few examples of Errortrap's alerts.

Using the binary sort method, by the time you get down to a single, 2, or 3 left in the batch to add or remove, that would be the end of it. Or the end of that branch, anyway. There wouldn't be anything else left to add or remove, so this starting up with only one addition thing would only happen at most once, again only at the very end. Not sure why this isn't more clear. But, whatever works better for you.

Of course I have no idea why your game now won't start at all. Have you tried rebooting your computer?

Sorry, I was informed that this discussion was in continuation from a progressed thread on MTS, so I basically stepped away from this thread to not interrupt the discussion between OP and igazor.

The Mods I suggested (especially NRaas Register) on my post was based on a full installment (viewed other scripterror at that time), but I realize that EP's Late Night / Showtime are not in play here, though unsure if its required as Register also controls a big chunk of Service NPC's.

As for the DreamPodPoor error, it seems your current game can not find the Core Tuning of these objects, which makes me wonder:
- 1. If this is a Saved Game, you currently loading up each time, try starting a New Game on your tests.
- 2. When you start a New Game, make sure to check in the selections of EP you wish to run on that New Game.
- 3. When you load up a Saved Game, make sure you checked in the selected EP's you started the game with.

You are on Patch 1.69xxx which requires you to start the game through your Launcher. The quirks that comes along with it is that:
- Launcher always remains open in the background while playing the game
- If Expansion/Stuff Packs are in play, you will need to load a saved game with basically the same Expansion/Stuff Packs checked in as you started the game with. The Launcher sometimes doesn't remember which EP's/SP's was in play. Missing or adding EP's during various game sessions on such Save, will swiftly corrupt your Saved Game file.

As for the error strings about Woohooer DanceTogether interactions and other general interactions, I would agree that an outdated mod, one, two, three, many (?) is in play here that messing up your game. Since we can't see what kind of mods you have outside NRaas mods and a few scripting mods we know about, it's up to you to keep them updated and confirmed working on at least patch 1.63.

My few pennies

I restarted the computer and it worked ok. I haven't used any service NPCs aside from the mailman (I even canceled the paper and I've never ordered pizza).

I start a new game with each test and I'm testing it just with the Into the Future expansion. When I load a saved game I always double check the expansions I activate.

I don't have any "dancetogether" mods. In fact I've been able to have my sims dance together without issue. And I haven't had any sims try to woohoo and still get the error for sims not in my family.

I can upload a picture of what I'm using as mods if you want. Can I link to other sites?

Use an external free Filehosting-server (example: photobucket, mediafire, tinypic) and post direct links within a post.

Though if the amount of other mods you have, outside NRaas, counts over 5, forget about it. The work it takes to look them up and checking them one by one, for something we aren't using, is not really productive for us.

As igazor already guided you the right way on cleaning up those mods, though what remains is the results on your end.
If your game runs without errors with just NRaas mods only, then there IS a problem with those other mods you have. Ignoring those reports will only get your game in trouble. Either start over with your collection and retrace where you gotten them from and (again) confirm they work on patch 1.63 and higher (check description / comment section), if not throw them away.

I'm going to try to explain this one more time. When the game throws errors such as the ones being reported here, centered around things like (for example) the dancing interaction, we are talking about the hidden functions behind the scenes that display menu options for the player to select. It has nothing to do with whether you have actually ever made your sims dance together (for example) or not. If two sims are in a room together and don't like or aren't socializing each other, if one of them is a child, if there is no music playing, then the Dance Together interaction of course is not going to show. In other circumstances, it will show. It's the process of the game deciding which menu actions should show or not that is breaking, not the interactions themselves.

And again, one more time, the problem with Register v80 when Ambitions or LateNite are not in play is a bug with that particular version of the mod, it has nothing to do with whether your sims have ever ordered a pizza. On its own it will think that more homeless sims are needed to fill Role Sim slots when they aren't really needed and it will instruct the game to keep producing them. The updated v81 fixes that bug. Or you could try to play without Register.

The game does a lot of things behind the scenes with no player involvement to function the way it does, with or without mods. Some of that functionality is failing here, regardless of what you direct your sims to do or not. And we still believe it is one or several mods causing these breakdowns because it reportedly runs well without any other mods in play. If you are not going to test your non-NRaas mods either individually one at a time (painful!) or in batches (more efficiently), then the only other solution I am afraid is to play without the untested mods. Then your dream pods will work and your sims will be able to interact with each other properly. That's not the solution you want, but you are fighting back against or not really understanding all of the ways we know of to isolate the real issue.

It looks like a mod may be overwriting the bed's slot files and causing that breakage. Another mod seems to be injecting a malformed interaction causing the woohooer dance error. I'm not really following why this isn't resolved either if you say removing mods fixes the issue then the issue is obviously in those mods.
