ErrorTrap Messages for Non-EA World

Post by OneCrazedAnarchist » May 26th, 2017, 5:23 pm

I downloaded Meadow Glen from My Sims Realty and ErrorTrap is throwing up a lot of script errors. It's even affecting my current family by "jump bugging" them whenever they try to sleep. I've tried using different beds but still get script errors.

Any clue what's going on?

I'm afraid that this is the same sequence of errors that you recently had in Uni World with AwesomeMod in place and without Dreamer to hold things together. Your game's Dream Manager is broken or over-extended and it is affecting all sims in town. Or a lot of them, anyway.

I know you've been down this road before (although Uni can be a bit different to work with). I would install Dreamer, use MC on City Hall to cancel all running Dream Managers, the command is NRaas > MC > Town > Drop All Drams and Opps, throw in a MC Reset Everything for good measure, save as, quit to desktop, reload, and hope for the best.

Wish I knew why this keeps happening on your end. But it's difficult to remove Awesome and the way in which it handles the Dream Managers of sims as the player switches households (or something like that, there's been a few threads on this lately on the MTS boards) from consideration when these come up.

OK, back it goes. I wasn't having any problems until I played that world. This game hates me.

Those are different than the last meltdown. Those are an EA fail vs corruption. You might be able to resolve that with Dreamer.

I'm not surprised in the least that it's once again an EA crap-show. I did as igazor suggested and that seems to have fixed it. I only removed Dreamer because it kept script erroring on one particular Sim. This game will be the death of me.
