Save your eyeball

Post by Chain_Reaction » March 20th, 2016, 8:23 am

So if you're like me, you stare at a computer screen a lot longer than your eyes like. And it ends in tired, dry, blurry, irritated eyes. In an effort to reduce eye strain, I created a new VS color scheme that seems to be helping a bit vs the bright white original. I have no idea if you guys are using 2010 but if you are and like it, I'd be willing to share my .vssettings file to hook you up. Just holler.

Love the color scheme Mitch but not on 10 and have no business whatsoever in Visual C, LOL but thanks for putting this out there.

Dang, looks like a great idea but I'm using Xamarin atm. Looks like I've got some learning to do

Not sure if Xamarin has color settings (it looks like they just released a dark theme but not sure it's customizable). I know this was a mild pain in the butt because I'm using the express edition which doesn't have a theme manager (which is why the right side is still white, can't touch those without the full package) so I had to manually change each type but it paid off in the end.
