Don't give Avant Garde as a trait, because they drop EVERYTHING to critique some random object! Quite annoying!

MoMoll - I thought that the Avant Garde trait was kinda cute at first, but then it got old real quick for that reason, and that they continue to critique the same stuff around their own home endlessly. Shut up already sim! LOL
My fav for being funny is the coward trait, I once gave a whole family of 8 that one and the dumb things all fainted when the house caught fire, I tested a theory that surely they'd wake to save their lives (nope!) and all but one burned alive before the fireman finally came and put it out. So yeah, it's not a good idea for more than one or two per family to be a coward. hahaha

Hey. Mod Retainer "Defines a global change to autonomy applied to all interactions in the game"... It would be nice to deal with it and to prohibit the use some objects autonomously and for nps. For example, It annoys me that everyone making tea from the store. Мaking tea in someone else's house... How indecent! I'd like to find that object on thouse awful long list and fix it. Or is that impossible?

If you haven't already done so, on City Hall NRaas > Retuner > Show Object Menu > True

Each object that is tunable, like the tea set, will now have an NRaas > Retuner menu on it. That is where the autonomy and some other settings will show. If the object menus do not show up after a short while with the game clock running, you may have to save, quit, and reload. Note that the settings will apply to all objects of that class (all tea sets) in that ongoing game in that world.

Oh, thanks, I'll try. It would be nice if sim can "drink tea with someone". Similarly to the mod "Have Coffee with Me". Make tea and offer it to the guest - it is much more appropriate. But meantime I'll be content, if other sims just don't touch my tea.

For some childish reason, I find "Don't touch my tea" to be extremely amusing. I don't know why.

But this would be the mod you require to serve tea to your guests.

Thank you for such a valuable find. That's exactly what I need. Except I didn't appreciate the idea of charging for tea. I think it would be relevant on a public lot. But at home, paying for tea is as ridiculous as buying food from the fridge. It's enough settings and options of the Retuner. It remains only to understand why something is wrong and doesn't work...

Afraid I must disagree. Your sims did not go to the supermarket and purchase those tea leaves to brew nor did they grow them in their garden. It's the same with food, assuming a no shopping from the fridge mod like many of us have. Why should it be totally free to make and serve tea just because they own the teapot? I just went to the market in real life and paid a ridiculous amount for tea myself, but that's on me because I refuse to drink stupid cheap American tea (one thing we never can seem to get right here) when there are better alternatives available.

This is similar to what icarus had done with his coffee maker/barista mod. If the sims have the coffee beans (herbs, etc.) in their inventory, then they can use those otherwise they are charged by the cup for everything that comes out of it except regular coffee.

Anyway, I note there is a Set Costs function on the tea mod, is §0 not an option?

Igazor, you know, on the one hand, you're right. It would be great to go to the grocery store and buy tea, sugar, milk... But the base game doesn't even have tea leaves and coffee beans. Sims have an endless supply of tea, coffee, snack food from the fridge. That's unfair. In real life, I spend money and time buying these foodstuffs. Оn the other hand, Buy anything sitting at home on a chair - it's very strange. And since we're talking about it... do you have a link to a mod what doesn't allow sims to buy food from the fridge? I've seen it before. But, unfortunately, I lost it :(

Ani's No Fridge Shopping Mod from right here at NRaas
<a href="http://nraas.wikispaces.com/No%20Fridge ... hopping</a>

There is also icarus' Cook with Any Ingredient mod that has this as an option.
