Anybody know of a way to set up a dojo as a job place? I have zerbu's mod, but there is no career for a Ninja or Sensei or the like. I see TRAINER as an option but its a self directed thing, not one that would push the sim to the lot to do the job. I want to have my sim pushed to the lot, same as a scientist or fire fighter, and then to begin training other sims on the board smashing etc.

Does such a career exist already or am I gonna have to get creative & invent it?

Yep! I missed that post. Exactly what I ran into, the sim I want to assign to said dojo doesn't come up on the list so I can't assign him, I've tried several job titles. I, too, want what I can't have.

Well, technically, unless Zerbu actually edits Zerbu's Ultimate Careers Mod, I don't think it is possible, right?

Ok so my best work around for this at the moment is career Sports Agent, then that sim finally appears on the menu to be assigned to the Academy (dojo) lot. Its not perfect, but he goes there and trains and offers to train others. I wish he could autonomously invite people to spar with, I wish I could assign a certain place to spar the opponent as well. Its a little irritating for them to initiate a spar in the bathroom, for example.

I have built a nice little center "ring" where I have to walk them over to it, tell them to "call over" the opponent and hope the option to Call Over is there (its not always) then have them initiate the spar before one of them walks away. Its a but of a hustle to get it all lined up right, then get all the other sims to watch.

Here's an image of my little outdoorsy island dojo if anyone wants to see it. Maybe there will be some suggestions as to how to get the sims to go to that location to do the sparring... maybe someone a mod exists or something that'll do what I want. Its got a basement level will workout stuff & of course a computer to request opponents.

But Ardis made these rabbit hole doors and rugs, <a class="wiki_link_ext" href="http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=549846]http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=549846[/URL], and there are pretty good instructions on setting them up.

Is that one compatible with Zerbu though?

All normal Careers are compatible with Zerbu. You can set which set of objects you want your Sim to use at the Townhall. Like you can give you Sim a custom carrer and then set the custom career to use the same objects as the sports Career. When you then assign the custom Career to the Dojo and only stock it with Sports items you want your Sims to use there you will have a working Dojo.

That I am not sure. I haven't used Zerbu's and my computer decided to pass on and I haven't been able to play in almost a year. Can't wait till I can afford a new one, sims withdrawal sucks.
