Head Banging

Post by sittingbear » July 10th, 2018, 10:47 am

Is there anyway to stop sims from banging their heads on the computer? I find it to be one of the most annoying things they do.

That means the computer's graphics card needs to be updated by a sim with the required Handiness skill.

For real? I don't think I've ever had a sim upgrade the graphics - or very rarely if I have, which means I've never noticed! I've always disliked the fact that I have to choose between 'this' or 'that' when upgrading, such as self-cleaning or unbreakable. Why can't I have both!?

In many instances (now I can't recall exactly which classes of objects this applies to), when a sim with sufficient Handiness skill and one of the Handiness skill challenges satisfied repairs an object, it won't break again so the Unbreakable upgrade becomes unnecessary. But this might be for plumbing objects in particular, not so much electrical, that's the part I can't remember right now.

And when it is upgraded would it then be possible to eydrop (E) the object and place upgraded copies everywhere?

I apologize for suggesting (not recommending) to make sim lives so lazy that they would not bother with manual work. Except gardening and fishing, which are fun. No fun in watching sims upgrade bubble baths or bowling alleys for 7 hrs.

I was afraid it would be something like that. *Installs Assassination module* Well there are other ways to deal with it 3:)
