How do I get a single parent with 2 toddlers to go to a park/beach with both? She can only travel somewhere with one and has to leave the other with a babysitter. Is there such a thing as a twin pushchair?

I don't think those twin strollers actually work; I was under the impression that they're just for the story/picture taking crowd. Could be wrong, though!
I've never tried it since a single sim can't hold two babies at once. You could try having her pick up one toddler, then control-shift-click 'teleport here' on the mother and switch to the remaining toddler and do it again. But sadly I don't know of a way to do it in the actual game itself without two sims who are teen or older.

Thanks Columbus and Tangie, I just downloaded the twin stroller and tried to take both toddlers for a stroll to the park but it doesn't work. There isn't an option to put both kids into the stroller. When you click on the stroller and choose "go for stroll with... and choose one of the toddlers, the little box disappears before you can choose the other as well. Then the mother will start out with only one toddler but the stroller becomes invisible and it looks really weird with the child in mid air LOL

It is my belief that there cannot be a functional twin stroller in TS3. As you may have noticed, when a sim pushes a baby stroller through an area that the stroller itself cannot pass through, such as across uneven terrain, the stroller jumps into the sim's inventory and the sim carries the baby/toddler across the affected area. Once past it, the young one ends up in the stroller again and the walk or routing continues as before.
Since sims cannot carry two babies/toddlers at once, a twin stroller would cause things to break at these points.
