Chemistry hasn't been released yet as he's still working it out.

Oooh. That's the bit I was looking for. I think he did a teaser for it sometime back? Sims 2 - style attraction?

I'd love to have more sophisticated attraction, but I (blush) barely played any Sims 2, so I never knew what he was modeling.

Will work on sorting out the updater shortly. It's gotten behind and is going to take time to sort out. Also have a boatload of new translations to push in time.

Yes, chemistry is the attraction system. It was meant to be Sims 2 style but it's ended up with lots more bells and whistles. Another preview coming shortly.

In answer to the original question on this thread, what would we do without Chain, that's simple. With no ingratitude intended towards the other developers who have helped out along the way, we would all still be on Patch 1.63 (somehow) with mods not updated or have moved on and found some other game to play. Those finding/returning to us since then may not have stuck around as long. Regardless, we certainly wouldn't be having as much fun as we still are years later and we would have one less modding genius to torture with our everyday game and sim story woes so we have that to be grateful for as well as everything else.

I don't really post here but I lurk a lot and I'd like to jump in to say thanks to Chain for all his hard work and express my admiration for his innovation and dedication. Thanks, Chain! (Super excited for Chemistry)

Thanks for update Chain, can't wait to try new chemistry thing, but with new version there is new problem. It don't get along with Nraas Cupcake (v6). Having these two in mods folder make game crash when loading save. First I thought maybe this was new MC problem, but it run well with other mods, except this one.

I can't think of why cupcake would be related to these mods but anything is possible. Is anyone else using cupcake with these?
