Hi, As the title says, I downloaded a couple of coffeehouses which have a stage for live performances, but no proprietor is being generated. Is there something that can be tweaked or are these just going to be a normal coffeehouse?

Don't know if this would help but have you tried changing the designation from coffeehouse to Live show venue.

How long did you wait? It takes a bit. Are you sure it's an actual stage that came with showtime?

I think I waited a couple of days. I could try waiting a bit longer.

The one I d/led from TSR generated a proprietor right away.

What about question 2?

Just to let you know, I've not forgotten about this. @Littlelambsy, I changed the lot to a Live Show venue, and that did not help. @Chain, I have waited for several sim days now and still no proprietor. Both the Port-a-Party and Micks have the "Family Bar" along w/some counters, but this venue (Bluebird Cafe) has a "Class E Juice Bar" and no counters. The Bluebird also has a freely accessible fridge, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and a couple of regular counters. The Spanish Brew has the Bar de Mish bar and again no counters. Again, I don't know if these make any difference or not. I think I'm trying to guess reasons for why a proprietor is not being generated on either lot. The 2 lots I'm trying to work with were d/led from the exchange. Any ideas?

I don't think the bars make any difference. The performance stage for venues is in BuyDeBug and it's pretty large. And in my experience I've found that the proprietor needs a one square space all around it to 'monitor' or whatever they do when they walk up to the stage. The Proprietor marker from Tangie's link is almost always the problem for me. Most of the venue lots I've downloaded haven't worked properly unless I place the proprietor square. Every once in a while, one will work. I kind of guess it's because the designer of the lot did it before uploading. The stages just don't seem to do the right thing on their own.

Neither one of those has a proprietor marker I downloaded them and took a look.
The Spanish Cafe wouldn't work at all.
The Bluebird Cafe was fine after placing the marker.
