Can this world be used as an already populated travel world?
I've downloaded Northeney: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=603670 and there's a populated save file for it. Is there a way to connect the save to the home world, so it will be populated if my sims go there on vacation?

I don't play with custom worlds much, but have been admiring that world from afar ever since its developer posted it on MTS.
Startup a new game in the populated world, play for at least few sim minutes (or as long as you like), save then quit. Copy the world's nhd file from the new saved game into the save of your already in progress ongoing game. When your sims travel to Northeny, they should land in the already played and populated one, the one now within your game save. It would then no longer be required to keep the original game you started there (unless you wanted to for other purposes). You may want to test this out with some back and forth travel or Traveler moves off to the side before getting too attached to it though, just to make sure the new world is going to cooperate with the Traveler system.

Yes. Install the world and copy the .nhd file of the provided save into your own save folder. Now if you travel to Northeney you will travel to the populated version.

The world is fantastic and I can only recommend for everyone to check it out.

I have been playing Northeney since it was published. It is incredible especially the terrain paints. As KTSC mentioned I also am playing with the save file and just dropped the Northeney .nhd file in the world I wanted sims to travel back and forth. I have had no problems with the population or experienced any routing issues. I've camouflaged subways in various parts of the worlds to speed up the population's travel time.
